Spring in winter
2012-01-17
My snails have been confused in recent months. Some species that always lay their eggs in March or April decided to start doing so in October. And not 1 clutch like other years but several. This is probably caused by warmer autumn. This produced a bit more work to always check the boxes. At the moment I prefer not to have extra young born and so the eggs are taken away immediately. The last clutches were from 2 achatina reticulatas, each of which laid a hundred eggs with a day difference.
